Nope, you cannot make great coffee with coffee beans and a coffee maker alone.
Unless you are making coffee from using pre-ground coffee or instant coffee, which we do not recommend, you will need a good grinder that can grind your beans to your desired coarseness or fineness. You may also need a digital scale if you want to put your barista hat on and experiment with your coffee. On the other hand, you may need a water distiller if you are a true blue coffee snob who hates having his coffee tainted with the taste of crappy water.
The thing is, there are many coffee-making accessories that can help you improve the taste of your coffee and coffee-making experience. Who wants to drink crappy coffee anyway?
