We recommend a light roast for most African coffee beans to highlight the much sought-after origin characteristics. Certain beans can also be roasted medium to enhance their wine-like or jammy nature.

Suggested brewing methods:

Manual pour over methods & drip machines are the best ways to brew beans of African origin. We wouldn’t recommend using espresso machines or French presses as they would muddle the delicate flavors.

Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda produce some of the best single-origin Arabica beans in Africa, and we highly recommend you try them.
