  • 8 oz milk
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 2 tsp chocolate powder (and more for garnish)
  • 1.5 tbsp coconut cream
  • Desiccated coconut
  • 1 scoop vanilla bean ice cream

  1. Put a little bit (1/2 teaspoon) of hot water into the chocolate powder or hot chocolate mix to make a paste

  2. Warm your milk and whisk it up a bit

  3. Add the hot milk and espresso to your mug, and stir in the chocolate paste

  4. Add the coconut cream and whisk to blend everything in. Then add the scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to the mug

  5. Dust the desiccated coconut and chocolate powder across the top of the mug

Recipe Notes

You can add a shot of coconut rum, coffee liqueur (like Kahlua) or other alcohol to this drink to make it more of an ‘adult’ treat.
