What We Love
The Breville Infuser is supreme as far as function goes with helpful features like the 1600W thermacoil heating system that circulates the water you use through a coil and regulating the water temperature for you, making a perfectly heated cup of espresso every time. We also love the espresso pressure gauge displayed on the front of the Infuser that lets you know what pressure the machine is operating at for an optimum product.
The pressure gauge works together with automatic volumetric controls that use a sensor to create the perfect volume of espresso, but if you prefer a different setting it is just as easy to override the automatic settings to cater to your preferences. The auto purge function will prompt you to clean with an "Empty me" notice making it easy to know when to clean.
Finally, the machine has a designated outlet for external hot water which means you can make so much more than just espresso. This tool that is included in the Infuser will allow you to make hot chocolate, a fast Americano or use the frother for a latte.
What We Dont Love
The infuser is one of the more advanced espresso machines on the market with external and internal features that require the user to browse through the manual to understand. It takes more time than a simple machine, but you get more for your money with the Infuser and the customer service department at Breville has been hailed for their excellent service.
Additionally it is one of the more expensive espresso machines on the market. Running at around $499.99 the Infuser costs more, but you are getting ease of espresso making and high quality product for your money. This purchase should be looked at as more of an investment.
Best Suited For
The espresso that comes from the Breville Infuser is one that is high quality, and the features are easy to use once you get the hang of everything it is capable of doing.
This product will work perfectly for someone who wants the brew of a barista in their own home.
Not So Great For
The Breville Infuser makes more than one cup of espresso, so if a single cup isn’t what you are looking for consider a different model as it makes two or more.
It is easy to use technology and will not work for someone who enjoys a coffee house experience over making espresso at home.
In a nutshell - the Breville Infuser is worth the money you will put down for it. This all-inclusive product will not only brew more than just your average espresso, but it takes the process to the next level with technology that guides the user step by step from grind to cleaning.
The sleek design makes it a beautiful product to display and when used and maintained correctly the Infuser will give you years of world-class quality espresso. 4.5 out of 5 stars
